To Al Gore, with love...

One dull December, mourn

An endless campaign remains

In Youtube "light"

Vapors rise from

Gaseous, greed-filled libs

Founders bones now spin

For a crazed American

Our fathers' stood on faith and reason

Al Gores' creed rejects them

His "thoughts", so starched

Swindling, it starts with the U.N.

Who will tax your exhalations!

New world "preachers"

Kill babies, unborn

Norsemen ready the syrup

Poured in ears of "useful" "friends"

Their, hell sent, committee

Like flies on the dung

Snow leopard sighs

"By protection I've thrived,

So, who needs these tools?"

Post (that never posted) over at Cross Examined dot org

from Dr. Frank Tureks' Cross Examined blog site:

//...the rings in a tree stump give you information, a decaying corpse can tell you all sorts of things. An intelligent mind is not needed to create this information, and yet the information is still ‘actual’.//

God created the tree (and the mind of the man who invented the chainsaw, allowing the unscrupulous "scientifical politicist" to intentionally misrepresent its neatly exposed rings) and, the now decaying corpse of, the human being. Having set in motion all creation, it only follows that His intelligent mind is behind every process His creation goes through, even if its "only" to the extent that he gave our minds free will to obey or disobey Him. His eternal nature points up that fact so, given this reality, the above does not include information free of an intelligent mind. Far from it. From start: "In the beginning was the word, and the word was with God, and the word was God." John 1:1 - To finish: (Jesus speaking) "Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away." Mark 13:31

As to infinity, it appears as though some are trying to fit Him into their idea of what that means. We can only understand it in the abstract so, how can one claim that He disobeys the laws of His own making? Why can't He be infinitely small, for instance, if it suits his purpose(s) at any given moment? Or infinitely absent? Or moving? Diverse? Invisible? Present? (Jesus speaking, "...My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness...." 2nd Cor. 12:9 "Blessed are the poor {broken/contrite} in spirit : for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.") In Jesus dwelt, "the fulness of the Godhead bodily" (Col.2:9) and yet He struggled with His flesh and went to the Cross like a lamb! The lamb of God! Why? Could it be that He is infinitely humble? What the nonbeliever is saying is, in essence, "If God is infinite, He must -according to my finite ability to understand infinity- act ONLY in accordance to what (I comprehend) infinity allows for." Its all about context. If you were right in your assumption(s) of what infinity is then, yeah, God would adhere to THAT reality but, I don't think a finite being can know the true meaning of the great "I am" so who are we to presume what "constrains" Him? The pharisees held themselves above Him, and that is why they took up stones against Him: "Because... being a man (He made of Himself) God." John 10:33

Don't ask me, or any other human, what means forever. That may be the crux of it: literal atheists won't believe in anything they won't see and believe that, eventually, ALL things can/will be discerned while theists accept that what is readily apparent to the mind, being endowed with a spark of His divine spirit, is sufficient for this life "And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory." 1st Tim. 3:16 And we are happy for it, not indignant at the very notion that we might not be privy to all knowledge of His creation.
That is why we worship Him and not it.

Look at it this way: "For God so loved Tim, that He gave His only begotten..." When the truth in that statement hits you flush in your heart, you will fall in love and spend the rest of your life seeking His will. May God bless you and touch your heart with His love divine.

Your World or His Way

Came here "alone", no wits but my own
Don't need no God. Got this fine facade.

Grew up skinned my knees, learned "thank you" and "please"
It's all covered, Lord, elsewhere I'll go toward.

Soon an adult, I don't need no "cult"
Learned well on the street: No vow? then no cheat

So "free" without scorn, no conscience to warn
Man, brandy is good! TV says that I should!

I knew it, I'm right! Shame is good -
hid from sight.

Oh yeah! She said "yes", don't need you to bless
Feet made of clay, so it's "natural" this way

Cruising along, "Free will can't be wrong!"
"Hey wait, who's this kid?, Out of me, came he hid?

Still, what's this pang? This "narking" harangue
Here's what to do, test the word so untrue

Something's awry, something is amiss
The old man must die? to receive your bliss?

Okay, whatever. Home to drink, watch a game
He thinks He's clever, cause He knows my name!?!

Pesky light, GO AWAY! Leave me to advices
Saying "Hey, it's okay, your ways have no prices."

And what of my past? Lord, what can I do?
Such power it has, to keep me from you.

You say that's
his trick? The king of this world,
Guilt making me sick, in a fetal ball curled?

Deny you, I won't. Lies author, be damned!
Let him chant his rant. By your truth, he is slammed

By your grace liberty, awaits one and all
Your blood makes us free. Strong, weak. Big and small.

Lord, thanks for the light. Without it we're lost.
Your way is so bright, for by you, it was Crossed.

The Ways of this World are Worlds from His Way. Choose wisely.

A Heart So Lost, Save Him

Jesus, Lord, come take me in,
Leave me not to me,
From you too long, apart I've been,
Mine eyes, make see, but thee

Anger walls, and judgments blind,
Hearts that stray from you,
Take all this hate, and make it kind,
Slay lies, my Lord, so true

Worldly cares, work to distract,
Shining is your face,
Help us to see, and then to act,
Once lost, now found in grace

Walking, gaining, in the word,
Striving not to fall,
Praying, seeking, who've yet heard,
The One, true God, of all

Scripture saves, truth from His lips,
Grant your ears, Him hear,
Your world possessed, He does eclipse,
His light, His love, is near

Someday soon, pray we return,
To where, our hearts belong,
Endless embrace, no way to earn,
By grace we join the throng

It's not known, when He will reap,
Then rapture from this life,
Loved seeds once sown / now cherished sheep,
Brought home, and safe, from strife

I love you, my Jesus

A Prayer for Strength...

Wandering. Wondering / The thing that one can do
To make sense. To recompense / To show our love for you

Just one place, our goal, Thy face / These broke hearts, by You healed
Grace from Thee. All mercy / Sin's blocked by Your love shield

Jesus, Lord. Go toward / Confusion soon deceased
True belief. Brings relief / By you, all lies, released.

Thank you God. I love your life / When seen in my minds eye
It was so hard. So full of strife / None be so blessed as I.

I long to hear, from your mouth Lord: / The love you felt that day
Its beacon still, shines from that hill / no matter how we stray.

Happy tears, allay all fears / Lord, in you, how to worry ?
Never alone, when you are known / all concerns you bury.

Life is short, not long enough / unanswered go some doubts
The truth, the way, the life, that is / drenches any droughts

We pray unto, and yearn for you/ our lives your blessings fill,
We'll heed your call, the One who's all / bye flesh, hello Gods' will

Now as planned, Your realm at hand / with heart, soul, mind seek we,
Straight the gate, not long to wait / let's help those He can free!

Jesus, mine, this life in line / saved by Your crossed exemption
Never let, your sheep forget / to thank You for redemption

Help us, our Jesus, to hunger and thirst after your righteousness so that we may truly be filled. We love you, amen.

However, when she is menstruating, she prefers a man doused in gasoline set on fire, with scissors stuck in his eye and a cricket stump up his backside.
